Obituary of Billie Rose

Billie Dove Rogers Rose Mrs. Rose, 81, of Charlotte, NC, died in the Harris Hospice Unit at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC on Tuesday, February 7, 2012. Billie was born in Union County, NC, May 30, 1930, daughter of the late James and Jeanette Richardson Rogers. In addition to her parents Mrs. Rose was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Robert in 2005. Survivors include her daughters, Lynn Harris and Tracey Hummell and fiancé, Steve; grandchildren Daphne McCrain and husband, Jason, Channon Watson, Shauna Hummell and fiancé, Chad, Robert Hummell and fiancé, Callie and Melissa Phillips and fiancé, Tyler; great grandchildren, Shelby and Lily McCrain, Morgan Watson and Ryan and Nathan Hummell and her constant companion her dog, Roscoe. The family will receive friends Saturday evening February 11, 2012 from 7:00 to 8:30PM at Hankins & Whittington. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Presbyterian Hospice, 324 N.
