Obituary of Anne Shaw

Anne Atkins Shaw Mrs. Shaw, 80, of Charlotte died at her residence on Sunday, April 15, 2012. She was born in Abingdon, VA June 19, 1931. Anne retired from UNCC in 1993 as the Traffic Coordinator. She enjoyed traveling and Bunka (Japanese embroidery). Mrs. Shaw was a loving and devoted wife and mother who will be deeply missed. Mrs. Shaw was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Wesley Shaw and son, Allen Shaw. A service to celebrate her life will be held 6:30 PM Thursday, April 19, 2012, in the Chapel of Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service.
