Obituary of Connie Wood

Connie Lindsay Wood, 64, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 8, 2012, in Huntersville. Connie was born May 20, 1948, the daughter of John and Evelyn (Jordan) Moore. She was a native of Charlotte and graduated from Harding High School in 1966 and attended East Carolina. In 1980 she married the love of her life, Paul Wood. She enjoyed the beach, shag dancing and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Dan Waites and Effie Lindsay and aunt, Gloria Sapp. She is survived by her husband, Paul of Huntersville; her daughter Dawn Morton and husband Lloyd of Monroe, her son David Smith and wife Misti of Mount Holly, her four grandchildren Michael and Stephen Morton, Brianna and Mikayla Smith.
