Obituary of Nell Schliestett

Nell Moody Schliestett Mrs. Schliestett, 87, of Charlotte, NC, died peacefully on Tuesday, August 13, 2012. She was born October 16, 1924, in Asheville, NC to the late James and Bertha Creasman Moody. Nell was an active member of West Asheville Baptist Church and it was there in 1948, that she met her late husband, Bill. Mrs. Schliestett was also a member of St. John?s Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC. In addition to her parents and husband, Nell was preceded in death by a grandson, Adam G. McCall. Survivors include her daughter, Vicky S. McCall; son, Jim Schliestett; sister, Kippy S. Wright and grandchildren, Joshua, Michael and Jennifer McCall all of Charlotte, NC. Nell was dearly loved and will be sorely missed. Graveside service for Mrs. Schliestett will be held 1:00PM Saturday, August 18, 2012, in Sharon Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Charity of the Donor?s choice.
