David was a community stalwart. For years, he and his wife Connie, were good and loyal friends to me and my wife Georgia. He will be missed.

Dear Mrs. Harris,
I am sorry for the loss of Mr. Harris. I'll always remember him as a kind, gentle person. I'm sure John and I could be a handful back in the day, but Mr. Harris never lost his patience. I've not seen John in probably 25 years; If you can send me his email I'd be glad to write him. Take care, and I'll always have fond memories of you both.
Sincerely,
Steve Ruppenthal

My sincerest sympathies to Mrs. Connie, Connie B., David, Jr. and Dr. "Jon-Jon." I have very fond memories of years spent with Connie "Jr." and her siblings at their hoe in Myers Park. We enjoyed playing and hanging out at the Harris' home where there was a loving and comforting environment. David Sr. was a warm, engaging gentleman who worked hard and enjoyed time with family and friends. I will always remember those years and the characteristics of leadership that Mr. Harris demonstrated in the many facets of his life. Love to all, "Frannie"
