Obituary of Jean Moore

Jean Anderson Moore Jean Anderson Moore of Charlotte, NC passed away on August 19, 2012. Born October 18, 1927, Jean was a native of Rockingham County and the daughter of the late Frank L. and Cora Irving Anderson. She lived in Charlotte for over 50 years. During that time, she was a long-time volunteer for the Methodist church, both on local and district levels. Mrs. Moore volunteered over 40 years as judge at the election polls in Eastover School and was a realtor for over 30 years. Jean will be most remembered and a beloved and devoted mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Allen Moore Sr. Survivors include a son, Robert Allen Moore, Jr. and his wife Judy of Rock Hill, SC; daughter, Susan McConderee and her husband, Braydon of Matthews, NC; grandchildren, Ginger Moore of Charleston, SC; Julie Moore of Rock Hill, SC, and Jessi Strickland and her husband, Marty of Richburg, SC; and great-grandchildren, Lane and Kingsley Strickland. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be conducted in the Francis Chapel of Myers Park United Methodist Church at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 24, 2012 with the Reverend Bill Roth officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of the donor?s choice.
