Obituary of Joe Fisher

Mr. Fisher, 89, of Charlotte died Friday August 31, 2012, at Presbyterian Hospital in Matthews. Joe was born July 27, 1923 in Cliffside, NC, a son of the late Fred C. and Audrey Huntley Fisher. Mr. Fisher was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Pageland, SC. Joe was the owner of I.F. Engineering and Beaver Creek Farms. He loved his animals, farming and was a member of the Union County Cattleman?s Association. You always knew where you stood with Joe; he gave respect and demanded it in return. Mr. Fisher was well known and loved and will be missed. In addition to his parents Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Berenice; sisters, Mary Hayes and Carol Long and a brother, Charles Fisher. Survivors include his Sisters, Freddie Fesperman and Frances Whisenant; brothers, Bennie Fisher of Monroe, NC and Gary Fisher of Rockingham, NC. His special niece and adopted daughter, Margaret ?Mike? Winkler Young and many other nieces and nephews.
