Obituary of George Antoniou

George T. Antoniou Mr. Antoniou, 81, of Charlotte died Sunday, September 16, 2012, at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC. George was born in Greece, March 10, 1931, and came to Charlotte in 1969. He was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral and enthusiastically supported the community. George served as president of the Evritanian Association, chapter four and was a lifelong member of the Velouhi Association. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, a son, one daughter, a brother, two sisters and six grandsons. The Trisagion will be held 7:00PM Friday, September 21, 2012, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Funeral service for Mr. Antoniou will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Cathedral. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
