Obituary of Emil Massad

Emil George Massad Mr. Massad, 79, of Charlotte, NC, died on September 18, 2012. He was born on April 19, 1933 in Benson, NC, son of the late George and Marie J. Massad. Mr. Massad was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a graduate of Eastern Carolina University. He was in the real estate business for over 15 years and was also a small business owner for many years. Mr. Massad was loved by all he came in contact with. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edmond; and his former wife and friend, Carolyn Massad. He is survived by his children, Lola Massad, George Massad and his partner, David Craig, Jenny Massad and her husband, Ron Horne; grandson, Bryant Massad; sisters, Edna Parker and Libby Johnson; his brother, Elbert Massad; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be at 1:00 PM, Thursday, September 20, 2012 in the chapel of Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203.
