Obituary of Hunter Austin

Hunter Merlin Austin, born March 26, 2011, passed away suddenly in his sleep at home on October 15, 2012, from a cause most likely never known. He is being welcomed into Heaven by all of our loving family members who preceded him. Hunter was a beautiful boy with a heart full of love and growing sense of adventure and discovery. He would never turn down a long wagon ride around his neighborhood and loved to have stories read over and over to him. Hunter always found a stuffed animal to tuck under one arm and give gentle hugs and kisses to while using his other arm to play and explore the big world. His parents could not have asked for a more perfect son to be blessed with and change their lives forever. Hunter?s beautiful face, innocent eyes, cheerful smile and sweet spirit will live on in the hearts of all he touched. He will be deeply missed. Hunter is survived by his parents, Brian and Suzanne Austin; grandparents, Barbara Lisiecki, Charlotte and Robert Austin; great-grandparents, Anna Safara and Harold Austin; aunts, Jennie Austin, Lori Lisiecki, Stacey Lisiecki, and Jean Lisiecki; uncle, Brian Lisiecki; and dog, Cody Austin (?CoCo? to Hunter). The family will be greeting friends from 4:00-5:00 pm on Thursday, October 18, 2012, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 3016 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC 28211, with a prayer service beginning at 5:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 20, 2012, at Forest Lawn East Cemetery in Matthews. Brian and Sue wish to extend their deepest thanks for the overflowing love and support from their family and friends during this tragic time.
