Obituary of Steve Welch

Steven Lawrence Welch Mr. Welch, 62 died at 3:00 AM on November 18, 2012 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville with his older brother and sister-in-law Michael and Shirley Welch by his side. Steve had a wonderful sense of humor and loved kids. He was a loving dad and will be dearly missed. He had an extra special respect for his oldest brother Bobby Welch. He is preceded in death by his parents, Burlin G. Welch and Pearl Hinsley Welch; two brothers, James R. Welch and Billy C. Welch. He is survived by brothers, Bobby L. Welch and his wife, Jeanette of Stanley, NC, Jackie Welch and his wife, Paulette of Stanley, NC and Michael D. Welch and his wife, Shirley of Huntersville, NC, and his baby brother Ray Welch King; sister, Teresa Holland and her husband, Sandy of Key Largo, FL; and two sons Adam C. Welch and Steven B. Welch of Charlotte, NC. Special thanks to Amy Wright his nurse and case manager, while he was in the Carolina Specialty Hospital on Vail Avenue for the past 6 months. The family would also like to give special thanks to Levine & Dickson Hospice House Staff in Huntersville and the staff of Carolina Specialty Hospital in Charlotte. A funeral service will be at the graveside in Evergreen Cemetery, 4426 Central Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28205 at 2:00 PM, Monday, November 19, 2012, with Reverend Danny Lee officiating.
