My deepest sympathies for your loss. May you find comfort in the Bible's promise at John 5:28,29, "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life. Your family is in our prayers.

The things I remember about Maggie:
She loved to crack people up. I used to give her the stone face just to see how far she would go, how silly she'd act trying to get me to laugh. She always did, too.
And I remember her "guys" - her angels. Although I could never tell if she was saying "guys" or "guides." But she would come in my office, all earnest, and say "My guys want you to take care of yourself, Charlie. Really! I'm am NOT sh***ing about this."
I loved Maggie from the first day to the last.

Your mom was a fascinating woman. When I think back about her what I remember most is her amazing smile and her contagious laughter. I know that you have those qualities in you too, so when you are missing her most, find a way to laugh and smile. Her love and spirit will stay with you forever.

My Dear Maggie. You are the Ultimate Svettie! You were my best friend. I love you more than a sister. I miss you so much. You taught me so much about life, love, fun and media. I will forever cherish our many fond memories with you, Jim and your lovely family. Like our harrowing trip up the mountain in the bus in the snow! The world is dimmer today because your brilliant light has been extinguished way too early! Peace my Dear Friend. I love you!

Maggie was a remarkable human being. She opened her arms, her heart and her home to me when I was new to Charlotte. She made me laugh, she made me think, and she made me proud to be called her friend. My prayers go out for Maggie, Jim and her family. You will always be in my heart with love and gratitude. Thank you for sharing part of your life with me.

Psalms 116:15 'Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His holy ones. Lord, I am Your servant, You have freed me from my chains.'
Which is pretty much what it's all about, freedom from pain, freedom from struggle, and freedom from suffering. Leaving people behind to deal with it as best they can, but knowing that someone is no longer fighting and is finally at rest.
Jim, you and I spent more time in our years together than we did with our respective spouses, but just as Ginger supported me, Maggie obviously supported you and was your constant cheerleader and sounding board. To say that her presence was undeniable is an understatement; the term 'whirling dervish' probably has Maggie's picture next to it in the dictionary.
Ginger, Ana and I are mourning with you and you, Michael and Molly are in our prayers. Peace be with you during this time of remembrance and reflection.
