Obituary of Annette Bedford

Annette Bedford, 82, of Charlotte, NC passed away September 20, 2023. Born January 9, 1941, in Cleveland, OH she was the daughter of the late Mildred and Irving Timens.

 

Annette is survived by her loving son, Craig Bedford of Catawba NC, as well as her brother Saul Timens of Alameda CA, sister in law Barbara Timens of Alameda CA, daughter in law Irma Bedford of Catawba NC, grandchildren Toni Laney and Luke Laney of Catawba NC and many beloved nieces, nephews, grandnieces and friends.

 

Annette was an active member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed spending her free time volunteering for various charities and organizations and spending time with family and friends. 

 

Before retiring, she worked for Duke Energy and IBM as a business change consultant. She also became an ordained Presbyterian minister.

 

The family will hold a service at Covenant Presbyterian Church on October 3 at 1:00pm. The service will also be livestreamed and may be viewed at http://www.covenantpresby.org/live.

 

Services are in the care of Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28203.
