Obituary of William Kincaid

William Kincaid, 67, of Charlotte, passed away July 29, 2023, after a long illness.

Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, he was the son of the late John Huitt Parker and Dorothy Beaty Parker and was the grandson of the late Keith McCord Beaty and Madeline Walker Beaty, all of Charlotte. In addition to his parents, William was also preceded in death by his sister Dianne Parker Davis of Blythewood, South Carolina. William is survived by his nephew, Ashton Thomas Davis and his brother-in law Robert Thomas Davis, both of Blythewood, South Carolina.

A person of strong Christian faith, William was a devoted son, brother and uncle. A sweet man with a gentle nature who had a passion for the past, he was always keen to make friends wherever he went. He collected antiques and was proud of the 1929 Model A Ford that he had painstakingly restored and of the numerous trophies he won over the years. He was a long-time member of both the Queen City Model A Club and the Model A Ford Club of America.

The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Asbury Health and Rehabilitation for their care, professionalism, determination, and dedication throughout the last few months of his life.

A graveside service will be held privately. Memorials may be made to the Levine Children's Hospital at Atrium Health in Charlotte.
