Obituary of Carolyn Gallant Albright

Mrs. Carolyn Gallant Albright passed away peacefully in her home on April 16th, 2023 at the age of 91. She was born on July 31, 1931 in Charlotte, North Carolina, daughter of Charles William Gallant and Audra Faulk Gallant. Mrs. Albright (nicknamed “Kitty”), graduated from Queens College in 1953 and married William Albright (Bill) on April 16th, 1955. She was a loving and inspirational individual who raised her family while also serving in numerous supporting roles with Bill throughout his business career. Kitty was best known for her positive and witty personality which was infectious to all who were blessed with her presence. She was passionate about her family, her deep religious faith, her large network of friends, and her numerous pets. Surviving are her children: Carolyn Palmer (Raymond), William Albright Jr. (Amy), Audra Niskanen (Gary), grandchildren: Kristen O’Docharty, Thomas Niskanen (Desiree), William Palmer, Steven Albright, Jennifer Fischer (Eric), Carlyn Albright, great-grandsons: Christian, Ricky, and Nate and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at eleven a.m. on Thursday, April 20th 2023 at Sharon Memorial Park located at 5716 Monroe Road in Charlotte, NC.
