Obituary of Mary Ellen Page

Mary Ellen Page, age 90, passed away Friday, June 18, 2021.

Mary Ellen was born in Union, SC to the late Lloyd “Eston” and Jessie Farmer Dobbins.  She grew up in Spartanburg, SC.  Mrs. Page attended Winthrop College where she received a degree through the secretarial school.  In September, 1949 Mary Ellen married James “Arthur” Page and moved to Charlotte, NC in 1951.

Mary Ellen was a legal secretary for several law firms and Superior Court Judges during her career.  She loved to cook for people who loved to eat and play cards.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, James”Arthur”Page in 2001; her sisters Katherine Bailey and Carolyn Dobbins.

Mary Ellen is survived by her daughter, Kathy Graydon and her husband Ed; son Randy Page; granddaughter Irene Melice; grandson Joshua Graydon; great grand daughters Ever, Brenna, Saoirse, Aevyn; niece Linda Osborne; brother in law Cliff Page; sisters in law Micky Hogarth and Toddy Atwater

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, 3307 Rea Road, Charlotte, NC  28226.
