Obituary of Peggy Loraine Kee Hanohano

Peggy Loraine Kee Hanohano, 85, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at The Citadel at Myers Park, where she had lived for almost 4 years. She was born April 6, 1935, in Pageland, South Carolina. Peggy worked at the Smokehouse on Montford Drive for 27 years and was a long time member of the Open Door Church off Park Road in Charlotte, NC.

She is survived by her son, Michael Kee, and long-time friend, Addie Baird.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Joseph Hanohano.

A service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 21, 2020 in the chapel of Hankins and Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28203.
