Obituary of Ferdinand Bert Phinizy

Ferdinand "Bert" Phinizy, 84, of Charlotte, NC passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020. He was born June 8, 1936 in Texarkana, TX to the late Ferdinand Billups Phinizy and Louline Lowrey Phinizy. Bert studied architecture at Virginia Polytechnic Institute before serving his country in the U.S. Airforce. After being honorably discharged, he was employed throughout his life as a Manufacturer Sales Representative for TexTan and Swank Inc. He enjoyed dancing with his wife, Joy, and spending time with his family and friends.

Bert is survived and loved by his wife of 60 years, Joyce; daughters, Robin de Krafft and her husband, Chuck, and Kelly Walker and her husband, Jon; three grandsons, Madison de Krafft, Sutton de Krafft and Jacob Walker.
