Mrs. Taylor taught me Sumi brush painting (taught my Art students the techniques i learned)and the tea ceremony. I was always captivated by her grace and knowledge of floral design.

Sonoko was a well-loved member of our small condo community and will be missed by all. I enjoyed our visits and the wealth of knowledge she shared with me concerning her earlier experiences and memories which I will always treasure. Until we meet again. "I AM the resurrection and the life, saith the Lord: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me, shall never die". God Bless Sonoko's family.

Aunt Sonoko was a lovely, gracious, kind, talented lady and will be greatly missed by all. I will never forget the time I stayed at Aunt Sonoko's and Uncle Ronnie's house as a child. Aunt Sonoko served a traditional Japanese meal that evening dressed in a beautiful kimono. To this day, I am still shocked when I remember her cracking a raw egg in the sukiyaki she prepared. It was delicious! I love her and will miss her very much. She is in good hands now smiling down at all.
Love,
Cheri and Mike
