Obituary of Judith Mary Foesch

Judith Foesch, age 76, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 at Atrium Health Main (formerly CMC) following a brief illness.

Judith was born January 4, 1942 in Beloit, Wisconsin to Helen Kivlin Friedl and Albert Friedl.

Judy married the love of her life, Carl, in June of 1964.  During their 54 years together, they raised 2 sons, Charles and Michael; moved across the country twice and finally settled in Charlotte, NC. She was most happy when she could be in the kitchen preparing food, especially cookies for the boys’ school classes and many social events. Judy had the unique ability to be at home wherever she was, making new friends as if she had known them for years.  She was forever fun loving and happy. She would sometimes help pay for vacation trips with money she earned donating plasma to the Red Cross.  Judy worked for a number of years at Richway while the boys were occupied at school.

Judy and Carl became boating members of the Charlotte Power Squadron in 1981 where they enjoyed attending many social events on being on the water at Lake Wylie with other squadron members.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother John.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Carl; sons, Charles “Charlie” (Roy Parkhurst), Michael (Angela); grandchildren, Benjamin and Matthew and sister, Ann Kemmeter.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM.
