Obituary of Beulah Bolt

Beulah J. Bolt Mrs. Bolt, affectionately known as Mawmaw, 87, of Charlotte, died June 1, 2009 at Carolinas Medical Center. She was born February 2, 1922, in Oconee County, SC, daughter of the late, Leander and Nora Mae Jones. Mrs. Bolt was passionate about her family, gardening, cooking and caring for others. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael William Bolt. Mrs. Bolt is survived by her husband of 62 years, Henry W. Bolt; her daughters, Linda B. Aycock and Kathy B. Turza and her husband, Al; grandchildren, Heather A. Jerkins, Shelby N. Johnson, and Monica L. Willet and her husband, Jeff; and great-grandson, Connor G. Jerkins. A memorial service will be held Friday evening at 7:00 in the chapel of Hankins and Whittington, 1111 East Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28203. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
