Obituary of Davis W. Sloan

Davis W. Sloan, III Davis W. Sloan, III, 57, of Charlotte, NC passed away on March 29, 2013, Good Friday at White Oak Manor Charlotte. Davy was the beloved son of the late Davis and Doris Sloan. He is survived by his sister, Susan S. Hughes of Charlotte, NC; nieces, Krista and Tina Kohlphenson of Greensboro, NC, Emily Miller of Mooresville, NC and their children, Logan Miller, Taryn Kohlphenson, Sophie Kohlphenson and Isaac Kohlphenson. Davy was a member of First Baptist Church Charlotte and had been a resident at RHA Howell Center Clearcreek since 2008. Funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. John's Episcopal Church, 1623 Carmel Road, Charlotte, N.C. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in his name to the St. John's Episcopal Church Music Department.
