Amy Skidmore Poeta
Mrs. Poeta, 43, a native Charlottean, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013. She was born June 16, 1969 to John and Mary Johnson Skidmore. She loved the beach, watching her daughters play soccer, softball, and her cats, Baby and Precious. They were a great comfort to her during her courageous 5-year battle with cancer. Amy was a very strong woman who was loved by many.
Surviving in addition to her parents are husband, Anthony J. Poeta of Charlotte, NC; daughters, Zoe and Celeste Poeta of Charlotte, NC; brother, John Skidmore, Jr., and his wife, Kelly of Wilmington, NC; niece, Hannah Skidmore, of Wilmington NC.
