Obituary of Michael Sebron Williams

Mr. Williams, 42, of Charlotte, NC, died Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Michael was born October 15, 1970, in Raleigh, NC. He was a graduate of Enloe High School in Raleigh and East Carolina University. Mr. Williams was the owner of his own company, R&R Safe Company of Charlotte. Michael was a very active member of Dilworth United Methodist Church, serving as a youth counselor, playing church softball and involved in many of the other church related activities, including Habitat for Humanity. In addition to his church involvement he was also active with the Boy Scouts of America and served as a Cub Scout Pack 13 Committee member. Surviving are his wife, Elise Williams; son, Benjamin Williams; daughter, Natalie Williams all of Charlotte, NC; mother, Beth Williams; father, Jerry Williams and wife, Linda; brother, Gregg Journigan; sisters, Rhonda Casey and Lynette Creech; maternal grandmother, Marguerite Marshall; paternal grandmother, Edith Williams. Also surviving are his father-in-law and mother-in-law Paul and Cheryl Kenney. A service to celebrate his life will be held 11:00 AM Monday, June 10, 2013, at Dilworth United Methodist Church, 605 East Blvd, Charlotte, NC, 28203 and the family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Mike's memory to the Levine Cancer Institute care of the following: Carolinas LCI Melanoma/Immunotherapy Fund, 1221 E.
