Obituary of Dorothy Brown Davis

Dorothy Brown Davis, 81, of Charlotte, died Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Levine and Dickson Hospice House. . Born July 9, 1931 in Charlotte, NC, Mrs. Davis was the daughter of the late Evan L Brown, Sr. and Cordelia Pinion Brown. She was a homemaker, and was greatly loved by her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and will be missed by all. She is survived by her children Stephen Davis, and his wife Burma, Deborah Wilkinson, and her husband, Chris; grandchildren, Chris and his wife, Emily, Chad and his wife, Tara, Cheryl, Manny, Evelyn, Ember and Avery Davis, Ryan Patrick, Kristy Pinley and husband Tony, Brittany Riddenhour, Hannah Stewart, Michael and Corey Wilkinson; great-grandchildren, Bailey and Brenna Davis, Zachary Loebs, Conner Patrick, Jacob Cody, Levi Pinley, Gavin, Ella and Parker Davis: sister Ruth Storey and her husband, Fred. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicki Patrick. The funeral service for Dorothy will be held at 2:30 PM on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Hankins and Whittington Funeral Service 1111 East Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28203. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM on Monday. Memorials may be made to Levine and Dickson Hospice House, 11900 Vanstory Dr, Huntersville, NC 28078.
