I vividly remember the first time I met Patti in 1989 when I visited Charlotte to interview with my first post-residency job with the Bradford Clinic, a prominent OB/GYN practice in Charlotte. Patti was the office manager and greeted me with enthusiasm and words of wisdom in my approach to the then all-male physician group. She would forever change my life, not only helping to guide me through the nuances of a large, busy private practice and the many professional relationship issues involved with such, but she would also play a huge role in my personal life by introducing me, in 1991, to my future husband to whom I have been married now for 32 years. Although Patti would leave the Bradford Clinic a few years after my arrival for other healthcare management pursuits, she would forever remain a close friend, mentor, and an inspiration. She always conducted herself with grace, patience, open-mindedness, and compassion for all whom she came in contact with. She spent many an hour comforting friends and acquaintances with a multitude of personal problems, whether by lending a listening ear and a word of advice or by holding their hands through cancer treatments or other physical/emotional challenges. I have personally been on the receiving end of her listening ear over the last thirty-plus years. She will be greatly missed and remain forever in our hearts.
Sincerely, Mary T Crowder, MD Galatians 5:22-23

Debbie,
Pattie was my Swingette Sister and Friend at Miami Jackson Senior High School. We had such fun times there.
I remember sitting and talking with her at our last reunion. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. May she rest in heavenly peace now and I am sending prayers and good vibes your way with Love.❤️

Debbie, we were so saddened to hear about Pattie’s passing. She was such a lovely lady inside and out and she will be missed very much. We may never know how far one person’s love has spread, but we know how that love has graced us. Pattie was a very special friend to our daughter, Dena, and we are thankful that she was in Dena’s life.
With our love and sympathy.

Patty was my boss for 12 years. She treated me like her daughter and always loved hearing my family stories. At times we butted heads but I knew that she was a special lady and I had so much respect for her. She was good to me and made sure I received a lot of praise for doing a good job, something you don't hear of anymore. I remember my first meeting with Patty, an interview for a job at the Derm Group, and she had her shoes off in her office and eating oreo cookies. She was a hoot and loved to have fun. She was a dresser and always looked so elegant all the time. I know she will be missed by many. We love you Patty and hope to see you in heaven some sweet day!

Patti was like a mother to me. She was a wonderful mentor, graceful, full of love and was always there for anyone who needed her. She has left with me many great values and positive life skills. Patti was an advocate for all women and believed women could do absolutely anything that they put thier heart and mind to. Sweet patti cake, you will be so missed by so many. I know you are resting in peace and comfort and restored in Gods hands. Till we see you again my precious friend...
Love- Steph

Pattie was like my "big sister" and showed me how to do so many things from the time we became friends when she was in high school and I was in junior high. We have always been close since then! She will truly be missed!

I miss her so much already. She was my mentor and close friend for 18 years. Pattie would often tell me, "Dena, enjoy life and don't let 'work' be your everything". And she's right; I will try to practice that. She touched so many people in her life. I will always love her.
