Obituary of Marianne Carol Bazzle

Marianne Carol Bazzle, 81, of Hickory, North Carolina, passed away November 17, 2023. Born December 21, 1941, in Waukegan, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Benno and Frances Isabelle Freund.

Marianne is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Harold Coleman Bazzle, as well as her son Ross Bazzle (Karen), her brother John Freund, sister Sharon Gibbons, her beloved grandchildren Katelyn & Ben Bazzle and Zachary & Matthew Duda, her great-grandson Jaxxon Duda, and many more loving friends and family members.

In addition to her parents, Marianne was preceded in death by her brother Thomas Freund.

Marianne enjoyed reading and talking about books, providing quilts for Lutheran World Relief, painting, and intensely interviewing friends and strangers alike.

A funeral ceremony honoring Marianne's life will be held at Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary St, Beaufort, SC 29902 on Monday, November 27th, 2023 at 11:00 A. M.
