Obituary of Roberta Diana Tindall

Roberta Souriall Tindall, 75, of Charlotte, NC, passed away at 4 PM on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Atrium Hospital in Charlotte, after losing a courageous battle with leukemia.

Roberta was an extraordinary wife, sister, friend, teacher, leader, dog lover and an accomplished artist, chef and hostess.

Roberta graduated from Eastern Michigan University and enjoyed a ten-year career in public education with the Wayne Westland schools. She then began a 25-year career in institutional advancement for Mercy College of Detroit, University of Detroit Mercy and the Cranbrook Educational Community. Following her retirement from Cranbrook as Vice President of Advancement, Roberta formed her own consulting company and worked with many Detroit-area clients. After relocation to Charlotte, she continued to work in association with Capstone Advancement Partners.

After finally retiring, Roberta was able to focus on her interest in art, especially pastels, and won numerous awards at local juried art shows.

Roberta is survived by her husband, Timothy Tindall; sisters Linda Moore, Reneau Nutt and Denise Souriall as well as her beloved buddy, Dylan.

A celebration of life will be held later in the summer.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
