Debbie and all family, all of the Carrington Place work family is keeping you in our thoughts. God Bless!!
Dear Barbara, Julie, Sherry, and Debbie and all the others family members, So sorry for your loss and ours, too. John will be greatly missed and know all of you have a special (family) place in my heart. He was a truly great man with some many wonderful qualities to his life. Always lent a helping hand to anyone in need, always smiling with a grateful heart. Love to see him ride up on the old motorcycle at church ready to get a whatever need doing. Barbara all my love and to you all; know that you're in my prayers. Love and sympathy to you, Terresa
Barbara, I just saw John's obituary today. I am so sorry for your loss. I can't believe he is gone. I know that last years have been tough with John being so sick. I did not know he was in hospice. I will pray for you and the family for the peace that only our God can give. If there is anything I can do, please let me know. You still got my address and phone number. John was a very special person to me. He helped me a lot in life. The thing that I always remember is the mailbox stand he made for me. It is still up and looking fine. Love to you Barbara. Call me sometime when you can.
I am so sorry for your loss. I remember your Dad well. It’s been years, but as we all played together as kids around the neighborhood I can picture him being there and keeping an eye on things. Hugs to all.
John was my very first boss when I started my career 33 years ago. I attribute much of my success to John as he was more a mentor than a boss. John always stressed the importance of attention to detail (probably a carryover from his training in the US Air Force) and follow up. He hammered into me the importance of respecting all clients - regardless of their status. His customers were loyal to him because he showed the same loyalty to them. While his work was important, he talked a lot about Barb and "the girls" in a manner that only loving husbands and fathers do. Thank you John for all you taught me. To Barb, Julie, Shari and Debbie, my thoughts go out to you. We can all be comforted knowing that John is now resting with Jesus.
So sorry to hear of Mr. "Ds" passing. I will always remember the fun times I had growing up in the neighborhood with him and his girls.
Rest in the arms of Jesus my long time coworker, mentor and friend. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, like the stars for ever and ever. May God give you comfort and strength Barbara and the family.
