Obituary of David Shtrick

Mr. David Shtrick, 67 of Sun City Carolina Lakes, Indian Land, SC died April 9, 2009 at CMC Mercy Hospital. He was born June 25, 1941 in Unecha, Russia as one of two children of the late Cantor Morris and Silvia Shtrick. He immigrated to the United States in 1950. He joined the US Navy in1958 and was in the first crew ?Plankowners? of the USS Enterprise and served his country four years. He was retired as a sales manager of Southern Electronics Distributors in Atlanta, Georgia where he had worked for twenty years. Prior to that, he managed the last Lionel Play Worlds of Atlanta, GA. Mr. Shtrick is survived by he wife, Jean Jun Shtrick of Indian Land, SC, his sister Lola Lower of West Palm Beach, FL, his daughter Laura Shtrick Karp and her husband Jeff Karp and their two sons, Jacob age 11 and Benjamin age 2, his step-daughter Joy Jun Rousso, and her husband Paul Rousso and their two sons Maxwell age 10 and Alex age 6. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday April 14, 2009 at 3:00PM at Temple Beth El 5101 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC 28226, with Rabbi Judith Schindler officiating.
