Charlotte Heading for May 7 & 8, 2009 Joshua Alan Waynick ?Josh? Mr. Waynick, 20, of Mooresville died Sunday, May 3, 2009. He was born January 20, 1989, in Nashville, TN, the son of Father Gregory (Jeff) Waynick of St. Luke Greek Orthodox Church and his wife, Laura L. Waynick of Mooresville, NC. Josh loved music, especially his guitars and had a sincere heart of compassion for other people. He was a loving son and brother and will be deeply missed by his family. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Cude Waynick and maternal grandmother, Anne D?Armond Leeper Surviving in addition to his parents are his brother, Dan Waynick of Charlotte, NC; sister, Anna Waynick of Mooresville, NC; paternal grandfather, Dewey A. Waynick of Burns, TN; maternal grandfather, H. Paul Leeper and his wife, Dr. Jennifer Najjar of Nashville, TN and many other relatives also survive Josh. Funeral service for Josh will be held Saturday, May 9, at 11:00 AM at St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church, 5108 Kuykendall Rd, Charlotte NC 28270. The family will receive friends at the church Friday afternoon May 8, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with a Trisagion ( a memorial prayer service ) to be held at 7:00 PM. Interment will be in Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens in Nashville, TN on Monday, May 11, at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Josh?s memory to Project Mexico Orphanage c/o of St. Luke Greek Orthodox Church, PO Box 1513, Mooresville, NC 28115. May his memory be eternal.
