Obituary of Jack Dunn

Jack D. Dunn Mr. Dunn, 83, died on May 7, 2009. He was born on November 5, 1925 in Charlotte, NC. Mr. Dunn served in WWII in the Navy. He graduated from Erskin College and worked in real-estate. Mr. Dunn was a long time member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. His passion was his garden. Mr. Dunn was preceded in death by his precious wife of 52 years, Elizabeth; his parents R. Fred, Sr. and Ella Kelly Dunn; two brothers R. Fred, Jr. and Joe Dunn; a sister Catherine Bolton; two children Laura Kelly and Robert Fred Dunn, II. He is survived by a son Henry Dunn and wife Robin, daughters Elizabeth Pilkington and husband Gregory, Rachel Lamb and husband Levon, Jr.; grandchildren Robert, Christopher, and Jonathon Dunn, Ashley, Boone, and Jackson Pilkington, Levon, III, Laura, and Noah Lamb; three sisters Mary Dehlin, Carolyn White, and Peggy Thornton. Funeral services for Mr. Dunn will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, May 9, at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park. Family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service at the church. Mr. Dunn's family would like to thank Monroe Manor. Words cannot say enough for their remarkable care.
