Obituary of Adrian A. Collart

Adrian Collart, 92, of Charlotte, North Carolina died Monday, February 19, 2018. Adrian was born December 16, 1925 to Norman and Ester Larson Collart in Rocky River, Ohio where he grew up. He attended John Carrol University and Purdue University and received his Bachelor's degree. He served in World War II as an Armorer Gunner in the U.S. Army Air Corps and flew 28 missions over occupied Germany. Adrian was the recipient of 3 bronze stars. Adrian retired as Vice President of Ball Zinc Products, a division of Ball Corporation. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Rosemary McCormick-Collart. Adrian is survived by his 2 sons, Dr. Jeffrey Collart of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, William Collart of Rocky Mount, North Carolina; his daughter, Nancy Hinton-Mundorf of Charlotte, North Carolina; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
