Obituary of Evelyn Ann Ristaino

Born October 28, 1955 to John and Marie Ristaino in Poursac, France - Died May 9th, 2023 at home in Charlotte, NC.

Survived by Hillary, her cat of 22 years, her brother John and wife, Bernadette Ristaino of Boerne, Texas. Sister-in-Law, Ruth Ristaino of Denver, NC. Brother Dominick and wife, Pam Ristaino of Charlotte, NC. Nephew John B and wife, Jamie Ristaino. Niece Julie Marie and husband, Steve Whitington. Niece Felicia and husband, Al Woods. Nephew Damien Ristaino. Nephew Nick and wife, Anya Ristaino. Nephew Alex and wife, Anna Ristaino. Nephew Nicholas Ristaino. A great aunt to Lauren, Raven, Palmer, Gigi, Olivia, Vera, and John Robert.

Reunited in Heaven with her parents John and Marie Ristaino, her Brother, Ed Ristaino and her dogs Samantha (Silver Bell) and Sugar.

Graduated from Pine Forest High School, Fayetteville, NC. Attended East Carolina University - Library Science.

Gentle soul, pure of heart - a tenet of the golden rule - never a harsh word spoken of others.

A fan of Princess Di, an avid seashell collector, loved crossword puzzles, arts and crafts and had a photographic memory - no phone or address book was needed - you simply asked Evelyn the name, address, and phone number – she always knew.

A loyal advocate of Krafts, Campbells, and Hunts foods - "all others are crap"

A loving sister and aunt – you will be missed.

Funeral services to be held at Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC at a date and time to later be announced.
