Obituary of Gene G. Warren

Gene Warren passed into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, in Charlotte, NC. He was born in Clinton, North Carolina and was the son of James and Charlotte Warren. He graduated from Clinton High School in the class of 1961. Gene was a proud veteran of the United States Navy where he served in the Navy security group. He was a member of the American Legion Post 380 and post 7793, 40 and 8. He was also a proud member of the United States Naval Cryptologic Veterans Association. Gene was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 43 years Damaris. He is survived by his son Chris and by many dear friends, including Joe Warren of Clinton. Special thought is given to Ken and Paige Sternberg of Charlotte, NC, his angels. A graveside service will take place 10 am on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, in Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC, 28144.
