Obituary of Matthew Joseph Bogdovitz

Matthew Joseph Bogdovitz, 64, of Charlotte, passed away December 22, 2022. Born May 31, 1958, in Massena, New York, he was the son of the late William and Therese Bogdovitz.

Matt is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Annie Bogdovitz; son Nick Bogdovitz, daughter Samantha Lee-Daigle, son-in-law Christiaan Lee-Daigle, and grandchildren Quinn and Riley Lee-Daigle. Matt was a leader in his industry, a loyal and steadfast friend, mentor, father in every sense of the word, and quintessential husband and partner for 46 years. He will be missed beyond measure.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Hankins and Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm at the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation.
