Julie,
I remember the first time you hiked with us, at Duke Power State Park. Then Denver stole your heart & 10+ years later you finally hiked one time, only to have the soles for your hiking boots fall off. That December Denver asked what hiking boots he should get for you.

Years ago, being a Realtor and a single mother of two small kids was about the scariest of all and trying to keep my head above water... I was a hot mess back then. I honestly could not have made it without the love and kindness Denver showed me. Both he and Catherine were always so supportive to all the agents at CBU. I always slumped and had the worst posture... and I could hear Denver shout from the other side of the CBU Arboretum office, "stop slouching and walk tall, Red!" Denver gave, wisdom and courage and strength to everyone. We had such a sense of family at CBU because of him. I honestly don't think I would have survived some of those difficult years without his kindness, humor and wisdom! I will be forever grateful to Denver Board for being so kind to me when we needed it most! My prayers to all who loved him, especially his beautiful wife, Julie and Denver's family and closest friends. Denver Board was bigger than life and always so very good to everyone around him.
