Obituary of Kathie Turner

Kathie Gayle Williams Turner, 58, of Concord, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022. Born Saturday, October 26, 1963, in Charlotte, North Carolina, she was the daughter of Shirley Williams and the late Grady Williams, Sr. Kathie generous with a giving heart who never met a stranger. She loved animals, spending time with her family, arts and crafts and crocheting.

Kathie is survived by her loving husband, Earl E. Turner, Jr.; daughter, Star Turner; step-daughters; Heather Johnson (Chris Johnson), Allison Johnson (Dustin Johnson), Holly Mosco (Sean Mosco), and Amber Toledo (Devan Toledo); 7 grandchildren; uncle, Arthur Johnson; aunt, Rochelle Williams; nieces: Michelle Bryant and Stephanie Packett; nephew, Kenny Packett; and many more loving family and friends.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Grady Williams, Jr. and her sister, Cynthia Bryant  

Kathie was a loving Mother, Wife and Friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends at 10:00AM with a Funeral Ceremony to be held at 12 Noon Friday, March 18, 2022 at Hankins and Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Boulevard Charlotte, NC 28203. A Graveside Service will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road Charlotte, NC 28227
