Douglas C. Boughton, 74, of Huntersville, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to everyone left us on November 11, 2021. He was a proud Veteran of the Army who served in Vietnam.
Doug would be best remembered for his bright smile, kind nature and infectious laughter. He truly loved the life he lived and it showed.
He had many hobbies which included grilling, playing cards and caring for his classic Corvette. Having come from humble beginnings, he was proud of the home he made with his wife. Anyone who had the privilege to know Doug felt loved any time they were in his presence. He was an inclusive man and took care of others when they needed him. Doug handled everything in life with absolute grace.
