Obituary of Claude Marie-Therese Perrine

Claude Marie-Therese Perrine (Cote) September 18, 1942 - October 11, 2021.

Aside from family, Mrs. Claude's passions were education and art. Her initial career in France started in physical education and ballet then transitioned in to French immersion education in the US.

Mrs.Claude was an amazing seamstress who often made beautiful clothes for her children's wardrobe including their prom dresses and many of their childhood stuffed animals.

Mrs.Claude was an amazingly gifted artist, who help make some of the best school projects for her girls and many more children in her school. As a tribute some of her art will be displayed at her memorial service.

She was such an elegant lady who knew what it was to be kind and caring to others as she helped many in need. Mrs. Claude was a giver in life and believed in the service to others. She taught those same beliefs and elegance to her daughters.

Mrs.Claude was the keeper of the animals. She fed the seagulls, squirrels, chipmunks and raccoons, again in belief that it was our responsibility to care for God's gifts of animals.

Mrs. Claude along with Mr. Claude, her husband of 59 years, wanted to insure their daughters had the opportunity to know life in France, as much as the United States, by taking then often to France to visit her family.

Mrs. Claude was an amazing mother, daughter and sister, who impacted many lives. She will be missed tremendously by her family and many.

She was not aware of the passing of her husband Claude and oldest daughter Nathalie, at the time of her passing. Which all will be laid to rest at the same time together at Black Mountain's Veterans cemetery. She was preceeded by her mother Renee' Cote and her Father Maurice Cote of Saumur, France.

She is survived by her Daughter Caroline Perrine-Jackson. Her sister Francine Galland, her brother James Cote. Nieces & Nephes; Lionlle, Oliver, Carol, John-Claude and Geal. Sister & Brother in-law, Gaile and Alan Riley, Nieces & Nephews; Donna and Danny. Niece; Robin, Brother in-law Donnie, who preceed her in passing. Along with many more friends and family.
