Obituary of Tommy Coble Ishee

Tommy "Coble" Ishee IV, known affectionately as "goose" and "sweet boy" by his mama and dad, Jennifer and Trey Ishee, was born quickly into this world on November 1, 2005. Outside of some speedy running, that was his only fast act.

Coble, a Sophomore at Myers Park High School, never met a stranger. He was an advocate for social justice, equality and freedoms. Coble will be remembered as a lover with a big smile who was inclusive, kind, fiercely loyal, celebrated the successes of others and a warm hugger.

Coble was fearless, bold and inquisitive. Willing to try anything new, Coble loved running, skateboarding, mountain bike riding, acting, thrifting, music, films, photography, painting and creating.

Coble left this world, as he entered into it, too quickly, on October 10th, 2021, just short of his 16th birthday.

In addition to his parents, Jennifer and Trey Ishee, Coble is survived by his grandparents Elizabeth Noles and the late John Noles and Tom and Bettye Ishee; Aunts and Uncles, Jill and John Whitfield (Noles); Wesley and Kate Ishee, Melissa Putland, Lee Ishee; Cousins, Elizabeth Whitfield Kassnel and Cody Kassnel, Emily Whitfield Stupak and Jonathan Stupak; Nate, Ryder, Sarah, William and Wyatt Ishee, his dog and "sweet girl" Georgia and numerous other family members.

A celebration of Coble's life will be held on Monday, October 25th at 5:00 PM outdoors at the Mint Museum: 2730 Randolph Road, Charlotte, NC 28207; Updates can be found and condolences left at: https://tinyurl.com/cobleishee
