Obituary of Michael Patrick Mitchell

Michael Patrick Mitchell, 39, of Charlotte, passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021. Born Friday, August 13, 1982 in Charlotte, North Carolina, he was the son of the Theodore "Ted" and Susan Mitchell. Michael graduated from Western Carolina University with a Bachelor's degree in Communication. While in college, he DJ'd the school radio station and was nicknamed "Mr. Hollywood". Michael was a gentle soul and loved spending time with his friends and family - always making sure he was putting a smile on their face. He was extremely talented in everything he did and enjoyed singing and playing the guitar - especially Eric Clapton songs. In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his siblings: Ted Lee Mitchell, Jr. and his wife, Tomera, Teri Geissler Lutz and her husband, Brady, and Kelly Geissler; and many more loving family and friends.
