Obituary of Diane Reese

Diane Moore Reese, age 74, of Charlotte, NC, passed away at her home on August 31, 2021. Diane was born on March 16, 1947, in Charlotte, NC to the late Henry Clifford Moore and Lola Bell Smith. Diane graduated from Garinger High School in 1966. During her childhood, she enjoyed being a Majorette. Diane worked for the Mecklenburg County Tax Office for 39 years, retiring as a Tax Collections Supervisor. After her retirement in 2008, Diane spent her time with her loved ones and friends. Diane was a friendly person who would go out of her way to take care of you. Her daughter, Stephanie, and granddaughter, Tephanie, were the light of her life. She would spend every weekend with them, going out and about around the Charlotte area. Diane was the best mother and grandmother to Stephanie and Tephanie. She will be deeply missed by family and friends. Diane is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Reese Mims; granddaughter, Tephanie Marie Mims; 2 brothers, Henry Guy Fisher and Henry Clifford Moore Jr.; and 3 sisters, Helen Fisher Williams, Linda Fisher Munn, and Patricia Fisher Flow.
