Obituary of Lillian Estelle White Griffin

Lillian Estelle White Griffin, affectionately known as “Miz Lil” to her family, went to claim her spot in heaven in the early hours of July 26, 2021.

 

Ms. Griffin was born in Cabarrus County, NC on January 23, 1931.  She is survived by daughters, Deborah Casey; Patty Griffin; adored Grandson, Taylor Jackson; sister, Carol Drye (Clyde); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband Jim Griffin; her Mother, Gladys White; her Father, Scott White; and her brothers Bill, Clyde, Mike, Earl, and Bob.

 

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2021at 1:00pm.  A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date.

 

Many thanks to the Hospice team of caregivers (Brooke, Colleen, Petra, and Tammie) who made it possible for Ms. Griffin to remain at home during her final days.  She passed from this earthly home as she lived her life, with grace and dignity.
