Mildred Maslow

Obituary of Mildred Maslow

Mildred Maslow passed away peacefully after a long bout with aging on July 20, 2021 at The Pearl of Fort Mill, SC. A former resident of the Bronx, NY, Queens, NY and Hightstown, New Jersey, the delightful Miss Millie, as she came to be called in her South Carolina home, possessed an indomitable spirit and a deep love of her family. She is predeceased by her husband of 53 years Larry Maslow and too many beloved felines to mention. She is survived by her children Ron Bernstein (Ann Bernstein) and Karen Maslow (Ryan Petersen), grandchildren (Erica, Lauren, Spencer, and Anya) and great granddaughter (Lylah). We would tell you her age but she would never forgive us. She was a queen of mah jongg and it was once said she could find a game if she was on Mars. She was a delightful partner in crime, heading out with her friends on many adventures that typically involved lunch, mayhem and Atlantic City. She loved dancing, theatre, reading, cake, shopping and going to the movies, even garnering the nickname “Millie Movie. The reviews are in, “It’s a Wonderful Life.”

A graveside service for family will be held at the Hebrew Cemetery on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, please hug those you love and feel free to donate to a charity of your choosing.
