Allen Kevin Scott, age 53, of Charlotte, NC, entered into eternal rest November 28th, 2020. Kevin was born in Augusta, GA on November 8th, 1967, a son of Glenda “Gee” Barker and the late Allen Walton Scott. Beyond his distinguished professional career, Kevin was passionately dedicated to the furtherance of equality and inclusion for the LGBT+ community, particularly those serving in the Military and attending Military academies. His passionate, heartfelt leadership saved numerous lives from depression and despair, often providing inspiration and mentorship to young cadets and alumni struggling at pivotal moments of their personal and professional growth. With his leadership and unyielding support, our nation has benefited immeasurably from his commitment to developing generations of senior leaders in both the public and private sectors. In addition to his passion for equality, Kevin enjoyed spending time with his husband, family, and dogs.
