Obituary of Joyce Hinson

Joyce Lavon Hinson, 79, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020. Born Sunday, October 27, 1940, in Charlotte she was the daughter of the late Jack Lee and Edith Groves "Toots" Hinson. Joyce enjoyed working in her yard, traveling - especially to the mountains - and above all caring for others. 

Joyce is survived by Michael Andrew Starnes and his wife, Julie, and their children: Andrew and his wife, Candace, and Cody and his wife, Brittany; William Mark Starnes and his wife, Twana, and their children: Katie Floyd and her husband, Dustin, Lauren Starnes and Jacob Starnes; Aunt Kay Starnes, Cousin Deborah Kay Russell, and many more loving family members.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her uncles: Dale and his wife, Pam, Jack and Frank Starnes and his wife, OlaMae.

A graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Sharon Memorial Park, Charlotte, NC with Pastor Katie Sloan officiating.
