Obituary of Judy B Selberg

Judy Darlene Bartholomew Selberg, 75, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away Friday, July 17, 2020. Born Friday, October 13, 1944, in International Falls, Minnesota, she was the daughter of the late Carl Alford and Helen Margaret Denny Bartholomew. Judy retired from IBM. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She gave all of her self to others before taking care of herself. Her love of MM candy only added to her sweetness, which lead to a large collection of M&M novelties. Without saying, she was the perfect role model.

Judy is survived by her sons, Troy Selberg and his wife, Carol, of Harrisburg, NC and Kevin Selberg and his wife, Carmyn, of Harrisburg, NC; daughters, Lisa Shirey of Mint Hill, NC and Julie Hughes and her husband, Tommy, of Monroe, NC; eight grandchildren: Garrett Selberg, Aaron Selberg, Amber Carpenter Bowman, Tyler Salyer, Alicia and Alexis Shirey, and Hannah and Tiffany Selberg; Step Grandchildren Sydney Bliss Smith and Baily Nicole Smith, Great Step Grandchild Aliyah Bowman, brothers, Dennis Bartholomew of Noxapater, Mississippi, and Lloyd Bartholomew of International Falls, Minnesota; and many more loving family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Ervin Samuel Selberg; brother, Melvin Bartholomew; and sisters, Betty Bartholomew Hamilton and Delores Bartholomew Helberg.
