Obituary of Ronald Elliott Andell

Ronald “Ron” Elliott Andell, age 49, of Gastonia, and Charlotte, NC passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at The Serenity House Hospice of Mooresville, NC.

 

Ron was born in Cleveland, (Cuyahoga County) Ohio, son of Howard Neil Andell, and the late Myrna Joy Sharlack Andell.  Ron attended and graduated from Brush High School in South Euclid (Cleveland), Ohio. After moving to Charlotte, Ron attended Central Piedmont Community College.

 

Ron then went on to become the manager of one of the local Radio Shack stores here in Charlotte, NC. After a career change he then became a delivery driver in the transportation industry.

 

Ron was most passionate about automobiles. He and his father made it an annual pilgrimage to attend both the new and the antique auto shows here in Charlotte. They kept up this yearly tradition since 1988.

 

Ron’s primary passion was spending quality time with his beloved son Nathan.

 

Ron is survived by his father Howard Neil Andell, and his wife Norma Pepper of Waxhaw, NC; his sister Michelle Andell Vinnik and her husband Michael J. Vinnik of Waxhaw, NC; his son Nathan Andell of Mt. Pleasant, NC; his Aunt Lisa Moore and her husband Don Moore of San Antonio, TX; his uncle Judge Eric Andell of Houston, TX and his nephew Rafi Vinnik of Waxhaw, NC.

 

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Celebration of Life service for Ron at 2:00PM on Sunday, September 8, 2019 in the Chapel at Temple Beth El Synagogue, 5101 Providence Road (Shalom Park), Charlotte, NC 28226. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
