I will miss you, Dollie. We knew each other for a long time, but became closer, I think, after Charles and I moved away from Charlotte. I always enjoyed your phone calls and cheerful voice, and so appreciated your keeping in touch and the time that we spent discussing the events of our lives. You were a very special person and a dear friend.

Dollie and I originally bonded over monthly Sunday dinners at the Venus in the late 60s or early 70s. My husband had reserve duty and we started going to lunch together and discussing life. I was new to Avondale, Dollie was a young career woman. It as a great way to make a friend. Our paths have been interlaced many times since..Bells, committee work, France, Women's Retreat..too many to name...you will be missed.
